Here Again

I've been here before,
I can't see my floor,
And I don't want to be here again.
Felt this fear before,
Harder to ignore,
And I don't want to feel this fear again.
So if you'll fix me,
Maybe this time i'll listen,
Instead of buying flowers to make me smile,
'Cause that only lasts so long and it's been so long.
Silence hurts the most,
It's become a ghost,
And I don't want to be here again.
Staring at these pills,
Second time it kills,
And I don't want to be here again.
So if you'll fix me,
Maybe this time i'll listen,
I can't keep buying flowers to make me smile,
'Cause that only lasts so long and it's been too long.
Something's wrong with me,
Why do I not feel like I deserve the best?
Enter my bloodstream,
Fix me, oh fix me,
Enter my bloodstream,
Fix me just fix me 'cause I,
I won't be here again.

We're lost but we are lost together,
Talking about it doesn't make it better,
But it's nice to know i'm not the only one.
We're so used to saying goodbye,
I wish that it still made us all cry,
I don't want to be desensitised at all.
But it is our fault for not buying houses,
And not taking jobs or settling for spouses we don't love,
And we know our phones will probably kill us,
But it's the only way,
To speak to everyone that's gone away.
Stability we'll all be chasing,
Mentally we don't have the patience,
Grew up before depression was mainstream.
And I know that we're all snowflakes,
Just because we care for heartache,
I'm sorry if sometimes we hate the world.
But it is our fault for not buying houses,
And not taking jobs or settling for spouses we don't love,
And we know our phones will probably kill us,
But it's the only way,
To speak to everyone that's gone away.

Keep Trying

Don't look at yourself today,
Unless you like how it feels.
Don't compare yourself today,
You won't like how it feels.
But everyday another,
Yeah everyday you're smothered,
By all the reasons to not get out of bed.
Don't judge yourself today,
You won't like how it feels.
Don't read those magazines,
Your self loathing is their sales.
But everyday another,
Yeah everyday you're smothered,
By all the things that you're supposed to be.
Can you be pretty?
Can you be smart?
But not that smart like you're trying hard.
Can you be handsome?
Can you be strong?
Don't show emotion can't you play along?
Don't be bossy and don't be loud,
Sit in the corner but please don't frown.
Take it from here boy speak your truth,
Everyone is in this room for you.
Girl, speak when you're spoken to,
Speak when you're spoken to,
Speak when you're spoken to,
I won't be spoken to by anyone,
Who doesn't believe.
That everyday another,
Yeah everyday you're smothered,
By all the things that are impossible to be at once.
Impossible,
impossible,
impossible to be at once.

Farewell
02:38

I don't know who I am without you,
You are what I always thought I would be,
I don't know what to do without you,
I'm not built, i'm not built to feel this free.
So farewell to the time when I could not get out of my bed,
And farewell to the time when I was only living in my head,
And farewell to the time when I kept all of this to myself,
Farewell,
I won't miss you.
I don't know how to be this hopeful,
But I promise that it's not lost on me,
Honestly i've never been so grateful,
To wake up and my default be happy.
So farewell to the time when I could not get out of my bed,
And farewell to the time when I was only living in my head,
And farewell to the time when I kept all of this to myself,
Farewell,
I won't miss you.
